Forests will contribute significantly to coping with climate change. However, the role of forests and forestry in policy and legislation is not sufficiently visible.
EUKI project Forest for Future therefore published recommendations on how to integrate climate change mitigation and adoption measures into national forestry and climate policies in Slovenia. They touch on forestry management, legislation, conservation or education.
