Experts of the EUKI project “Directing EU Funds towards Climate Neutrality” are concerned that the current system of EU funding might have, against its intentions, negative effects on the EU’s climate goals. Drawing on the projects position paper, CEE representatives and an advisor on budget of the Greens/EFA will evaluate the question on how to build efficient advocacy to enhance the discussion on EU budget payments to the CEE region and ensure transparent spending for the green transition.
