Date: 03 March 2020

Dear EUKI Community,

The window for applications for the 4th EUKI call for project ideas has closed. Over 170 submitted proposals are a new record we are very proud of. The amount of drafts submitted illustrates the high demand for financing for cross-border climate change mitigation projects in Europe. We will be examining the proposals over the coming weeks and we expect to provide our feedback at the beginning of June.

EUKI is now on Facebook, which means you will receive even more comprehensive updates more quickly in future. On our page you will find the latest news, publications, videos, events and much more on the excellent work of our EUKI projects, and on climate change mitigation in Europe. Follow us and share the link to our page with your contacts.

We are delighted to present another selection of exciting news updates from our projects. Learn more about Greek-Portuguese municipal partnerships, climate change mitigation in the Hungarian agricultural sector and the Energy Economy Week in Krk.

The next highlight for the EUKI Community is already scheduled for 18-19 March. We are looking forward to welcoming around 120 climate change mitigation activists from all over Europe to the EUKI networking conference in Berlin.

Kind regards,
Stefan Bundscherer
Director European Climate Initiative (EUKI)
